Please read before booking your adventure!

* Safety comes first on all of our guided trips.

* Children under the age of 13 years old will need to have with them a P.F.D. (Life- Jacket) that they will be comfortable wearing for the full duration of the trip.

* A $100 deposit will reserve an open date of your choice, your deposit will be credited to the total cost of your trip.

* Rod and reel trips normally start at 7:30am.

* No refunds will be given if you decide to go in early.

* If the trip is canceled due to bad weather, your trip can be rescheduled.

* Other than weather cancellations must be made at least 3 days before your booked date to receive a refund on your deposit.
 

You will need to bring your Texas fresh water fishing license, and photo ID.

Resident Fishing Licenses

Required of any resident who fishes in the public waters of Texas (Note: All members of the U.S. Armed Forces on active duty and their dependents are considered residents).

You do not need a license/package if you:

  • are under 17 years of age.
  • were born before Sept. 1, 1930.
  • are a mentally disabled person who is engaging in recreational fishing as part of medically approved therapy, and who is fishing under the immediate supervision of personnel approved or employed by a hospital, residence, or school for mentally disabled persons. The mentally disabled person must carry an authorization identifying the entity supplying the service. This authorization may be in the form of an I.D. card that contains the name of the sponsoring entity.
  • are a mentally retarded person and you are recreational fishing under the direct supervision of a licensed angler who is a family member or a licensed angler that has permission from the family to take the mentally retarded person fishing. While fishing, the mentally retarded person needs a note from a doctor stating the person has been diagnosed as mentally retarded.

Non-Resident Fishing Licenses

Required of all non-residents who fish in the public waters of Texas. Licenses/Packages are not required if you are a:

  • non-resident under 17 years of age;
  • Louisiana resident 65 years of age or older who possesses a valid Louisiana Recreational Fishing License (includes Senior Fish/Hunt License); or
  • Oklahoma resident 64 years of age or older.

 

You should consider bringing:

* A jacket and long pants for cooler weather, it will be a lot cooler on the lake than on land, we suggest you dress in layers.

* Sun block and maybe a hat to help prevent sun burn.

* Drinks and snacks, enough for an 8 hour trip, we normally have lunch out on the boat while fishing.

* Camera, film or memory stix, batteries.

* Any medications you may need while out catfishing.

* An Ice chest and bag of ice to keep your fillets cold until you get home, ice can be purchased at one of the local convenience stores after your trip.
